Hamble Winter Series 2007


Peter Howlands X-35 enters the Hamble Winter Series.
The X-35 competes in IRC Class 2, during this popular winter series running from 7th October through to the 2nd December (omitting 4th November).

X-35’s at Cowes


The X-35’s had the best of both worlds at Cowes this year.
Competing in IRC Class 5, all 6 boats raced off their one design handicap allowing some close boat to boat racing as well as dominating the top ten Class results.

Solent Cup - X-35 National Championships

Over 3 days from the 12th July, the Royal Southern Yacht Club hosted the
X-Yachts Solent Cup, which included the inaugural X-35 UK nationals. Eight
boats took to the start line on the Thursday, in a westerly breeze of around
20kts.

The Old Pulteney Scottish IRC Championship 
David McFarland and his crew took first place in his X-35 'eXaltation' at the Scottish Championships earlier this month.

Perfect 10 finish 5th

You can’t go straight from the out-house to the pent-house.
The crew of Perfect 10 finished 5th out of the 24 X-35 OD fleet, who participated in the ABN AMRO North Sea Regatta in Holland.


ABN AMRO North Sea Regatta

‘Cool Runnings’, ‘Perfect Ten’, ‘Kiss’ and ‘Jazz II’, four UK-based X-35’s participated in the North Sea Regatta in Scheveningnen, Netherlands last weekend and enjoyed great racing in a fleet of 24 X-35’s. The event was impressive, with super competitive starts and mark roundings, everything you can hope for in One Design racing

British X-35 leads the Dutch Audi Cup

Audi X-35 Cup 2007
Ten Racing Group and the sailing team that includes Quantum sailmaker John  Parker and five members of the Volvo Keelboat Squad are currently leading the first Audi X-35 Cup of the 2007 season, held in Medemblik, Holland.
 


Around the Isle of Man

X-35 Exaltation 
Overall a very challenging race under the prevailing wind and sea conditions which saw David McFarland's X-35 ‘Exaltation’ take second place overall.
